  • Oct 3 A new environmental law was passed in Washington State in 1997. Some feel this new law (ESSHB 1866, "Environmental Excellence Program Agreements") is a threat to the existing system used to protect human health and the environment, while others think it is time to test alternative approaches. The purpose of this site is to provide information so that you can judge for yourself. As proposals are submitted this site will also be one of the ways you can submit your comments and ask for clarification.
