We often hold events to promote conservation issues, learn more about the basin, and just to have fun. These include music festivals, river trips, hikes, seminars, and displays at fairs. Below is a list of recent events.
Intern Fair at Evergreen State College, January 31, 2007 – look for our booth at the Evergreen State College Intern Fair to learn about internship opportunities with CRC.

National River Cleanup and Canoeing – This summer we will participate in a National River Cleanup event, hopefully in coordination with an informal canoe/kayak trip on a local river. Look here for details later this year.

|
Chehalis River Festival – On September 23rd we joined with the Chehalis Basin Partnership and other local organizations at the first annual Chehalis River Festival at Riverside Park in Centralia. Activities include speakers from the Chehalis Tribe, the Friends of the Cowlitz fish tank, various crafts, and the dedication of the Chehalis River Discovery Trail at the Centralia wastewater treatment plant. |
