CRC Proposal for Chehalis Basin Partnership Structure

At a meeting of the Chehalis Basin Partnership (CBP) on May 22, 1998 - the chairperson voiced a desire to meet with the CRC concerning the CBP structure (after the regular CBP meeting).

The CBP meeting ran late and the CRC/CBP meeting didn't take place. This proposal was faxed to the CBP chairperson for consideration.

THURSTON WATERSHEDS LEWIS WATERSHEDS GRAYS HARBOR WATERSHED Middle Chehalis Upper Chehalis Lower Chehalis Black River Chehalis, South Fork Satsop Newaukum Wynoochee Skookumchuck Hoquiam Humptulips Porter Creek

This proposal will allow each watershed to be represented and it increases total membership by only 4 positions -

Allow the Chehalis Basin Fisheries Task Force, Chehalis Basin Land Trust and Chehalis River Council to jointly interview and nominate watershed represntatives.

Include fisheries, oyster growers, timber and Conservation Districts as members of the Special Interest category
