Chehalis Basin Partnership

The Chehalis Basin Partnership, a watershed planning group formed under 
Engrossed Substitute House Bill (ESHB) 2513, 1998 Legislative Session, 
proposes to select a qualified consultant to assist in preparting a Level I 
techinical assessment.  THis assessment is the first step in preparing a 
Chehalis River Basin Wtershed Management Plan.
The planning approach adopted by the Partnership is:
1) to assess and manage the water resources of the Chehalis River Basin,
2) to pursue strategies within the Chehalis River Basin which include key 
elements of flood reduction, fisheries, recreation, water quality and water 
quantity, and
3) to examine their relationsip to economic health and sustainability.
The dealine for proposal submittal is (POSTMARKED) NOT LATER THAN 5:00 PM 
MONDAY, MAY 31.  A detailed scope of work and outline of proposal format can
