General Discussion: The CAC meeting was held directly after the CBP meeting.
The subject of citizen outreach came up several times during the course of the Partnership meeting this morning. We reviewed the work done so far by the CAC to develop a plan, including the workshops with John Kliem several months ago and Margaret Rader's handout. Discussed use of local newspapers, DOW, etc.
The CAC recommends to the CBP that Triangle or another consultant develop a citizen outreach and public participation plan. The CAC can act as a sounding board for the development of such a plan, but we do not have the resources to develop or administer it ourselves.
There was some discussion of CAC meeting times. We will continue to meet right after the CBP for now. There was also some discussion of future field trips.
Next meeting: Friday, Oct 26 at 12:00, right after the Partnership meeting at the Chehalis River Council office in Oakville.
