Proposed revisions to Chehalis Basin Partnership Meeting Summaries

July 26, 2002

CAC: J. Roach is the voting member from Thurston County not the CAC so strike this statement from this section of the summary and add it to the paragraph discussed below.

STC: 3rd paragraph, Margaret Rader is resigning from her position as citizen member of the CBP representing citizens from Thurston County and her position on the Citizens' Advisory Committee. J. Roach has been appointed by Thurston County to replace her on the Partnership as voting member representing citizens from Thurston County. Chanelle Holbrook has been appointed by Thurston County to replace Margaret Rader on the CAC.

Second Paragraph, first sentence change to say:

In order to help respond to the Partnerships' desire to serve as the home for TMDL completion, Dave followed through on the TMDL schedule he described at the July Partnership meeting to convene a kick-off meeting in mid- September for completing several current TMDL's in the basin. He is responsible for the Dept. of Ecology for moving those TMDL's forward to completion and wants to finish the work in time for the Partnership to benefit and be able to consider integrating the TMDL's into their Watershed Plan by their October 2003 deadline.

Another reason was that Brian Shea, who sponsored the formation of the WQ Committee, recently contacted Ecology to urge the Committee get moving on the TMDL discussions.

Then go on with the rest of the paragraph..., " In e-mail responding to Dave's meeting invitation it was clear that a few Partnership members did not appreciate him taking the initiative and scheduling a meeting of the committee. The Partnership discussed the organization and role of the WQ committee. ......
