Lewis County Flood Hazard Control Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the overall body comprised of county commissioners and staff from Lewis, Grays Harbor, and Thurston counties.

Responsible for flood planning throughout the Chehalis flood area.

Lewis County Flood Hazard Project Community Advisory Committee

State law allows for 15 voting members, with a total maximum committee membership of 32.

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is divided into three watershed basin subzone committees: Chehalis, Cowlitz and Nisqually.

Note: Places were also held for Chehalis and Cowlitz tribes; at present there are no voting tribal members participating in the committee.
