1. MT-Forms Revisions

Thank you once again for taking the time to comment on the MT Forms during the revisions process. A proposed revised forms package, which incorporates many of the comments received since September, will be submitted to the proper officials for approval in the coming weeks. Additional information about the forms will be provided in future issues of this bulletin.

Learn more about FEMA’s January 29 Congaree River Appeal Resolution meeting. This meeting was held at the request of the City of Columbia, South Carolina, and Columbia Venture, LLC, to address issues concerning the City's Waste Water Treatment Plant, the revised preliminary flood maps, and conditional Letters of Map Revision (LOMRs).

Explore and learn about each of the components found in FEMA’s Flood Insurance Study reports, including profiles, cross-sections, and notes. In addition, learn more about using the information found in the FIS report in conjunction with a Flood Insurance Rate Map to determine flood risks for a property. 5. Fountain Valley Floodplain Reduced by Levee Projects

Learn more about the Letter of Map Revision issued on January 10, 2001, to revise the effective Flood Insurance Rate Map as a result of the completion and restoration of the Santa Ana River flood control system from Imperial Highway to the Pacific Ocean. This LOMR affects several communities in Orange County, California.

Read and download the annual and final reports of the Technical Mapping Advisory Council to the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The Council was created by Congress through the 1994 National Flood Insurance Reform Act to provide recommendations to FEMA on how to improve the accuracy, quality, distribution, and use of Flood Insurance Rate Maps.
