Revegetating Reed canarygrass infested riparian buffers with native shrub/tree species. The presentation will discuss various control methods that were evaluated to control Reed canarygrass. The program will be presented by Tim Miller, Washington State University, Mt. Vernon Research Unit
Stopping Weed Invaders. Protecting natural resources and agriculture production with plant quarantines. A presentation on the quarantine process to limit the introduction of noxious weeds to Lewis County and Western Washington. The program will provide skills to recognize new weeds and discuss the strategies the WSDA is implementing to prevent noxious weeds entering the state. The program will be presented by Bridget Simon, Washington State Noxious Weed Control Board.

Pesticide License Recertification Credit
Two hours of recertification credit will be offered by WSDA for pesticide license holders.

Directions: Take exit 72 from 1-5. Travel northeast on Rush Road about .5 miles to the new WSDOT maintenance facility at 1411 Rush Road. The WSDOT office is located next to the Dept. of Natural Resources, Central Office.
