1. MT Forms Revisions
Thank you once again for taking the time to comment on the MT Forms during the revisions process. The current forms expire soon; however, we have been authorized to use them until the new forms are officially approved. Additional information about the forms will be provided in future issues of this bulletin.
2. FEMA Renames the Cooperating Technical Communities Initiative

Because the term "community" has a restricted definition for National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) purposes, we are now using the more inclusive title of "Cooperating Technical Partners," or "CTP". We have also redesigned this section of the website to provide more information about this initiative and about existing partnerships throughout the nation.
3. GIS II Tutorial Now Available

The second in the GIS Tutorial Series, this interactive tutorial provides information on FEMA’s use of Geographic Information Systems technology to create Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMs). Topics addressed include DFIRM components; graphic, base map, and metadata specifications; and database design.

6. Download the Coastal Hazard Analysis Modeling Program (CHAMP), Version 1.0

Visit this page to download a copy of CHAMP, a Windows-interfaced Visual Basic language program that allows the user to enter data, perform coastal engineering analyses, view and tabulate results, and chart summary information for each representative transect along a coastline within a user-friendly graphical interface.
