Ecology will be proposing a rule update to Washington's Water Quality
Standards late this fall. This will include an update to the temperature
criteria. We recognize that this temperature issue is complex and important
to a number of interests. Attached is a link to Washington's temperature
proposal: http://www.ecy.wa.gov/biblio/0010066.html
The Department of Ecology encourages you to comment on EPA's guidance and
attend these workshops.
