The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in Room 1 of the Lewis County Courthouse Annex.
Rob Jones(NMFS), Linda Crerar(wa Dept. of Ag.) and Jeff Breckle from the Lower Columbia Salmon Recovery Board are on the agenda.
Among the items to be discussed is the importance of having a ESA Task Force developed for the county. It will be critical in obtaining grant dollars through the Salmon Recovery Board. The Task Force will be a great mechanism to bring county heads together with environmental professionals to ensure all aspects of the Endangered Species Act are being met when desiging and implementing projects. A Task Force could help with informal and formal consultaions with National Marine Fisheries Service.
Lewis County Commissioners Hadaller and Graham are
scheduled to be at this meeting.
