Appreciate Puget Prairies on May 8

Each year Friends of Puget Prairies and Thurston County Parks and Recreation sponsor Prairie Appreciation Day to celebrate the unique features of the Puget Prairies. Some of these prairies are part of the Black River and Scatter Creek subbasins. This year the central meeting spot will be inside (not out in the wind) at Littlerock School, 8:00 a.m.--4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 8.

Special activities, booths, art and displays about Puget prairies are featured.

For field trips, meet your leader at the Littlerock school gym 15 minutes prior to starting time.

A special program will be held at noon at the Grade School.
