The Washington Department of Ecology is offering training sessions in the Methods for Assessing Wetland Functions - Riverine and Depressional Wetlands in the Lowlands of Western Washington.
USER-'S TRAINING -
For consultants, environmental groups, and agency staff that will be applying the methods in the field. These are intensive, 5-day classes that include a field component and provide comprehensive training in using the new methods to assess wetland functions. Completion of this training session is strongly recommended prior to application of the new methods.
Space is limited and preregistration is required. The cost for this training session is $400.00 for government employees and $600.00 for private employees. To register, please complete the form on the back of this sheet.
DECISION-MAKER'S TRAINING -
These half-day training sessions are for-local, state, and federal agency planners, wetland specialists, and other decision-makers that may be receiving the results of the new methods for review. These sessions include a brief project overview and guidance on how to understand, interpret, and use the results of function assessments completed with the new methods. These sessions do not cover field application of the methods.
Space is limited and preregistration is required. The cost for these training sessions is $25.00.
