Sep. 21, 2004 The Chehalis Basin Partnership (CBP) draft operating procedures manual has been added to this site.
This booklet is a guide for members of the Partnership. It summarizes the legal framework and past organizational decisions of the Partnership. This document was adapted from the Chehalis Basin Partnership interim by-laws (February 26, 1999) and the Quilcene/Snow and Skokomish/Dosewallips Operating Procedure Manuals Sep. 19, 2004 A number of attachments (for the September 2004 meeting) are now available:

Apr. 15, 2004 The Chronicle reports: After six years of carping, agonizingly intricate debate and surprising eventual agreement, a unique group of citizens and governmental entities has approved a plan to manage water in the Chehalis River basin. One reason the plan was finally approved was it doesn't have any teeth at least not yet. It is a collection of guidelines, goals and data that can be used to guide water and land use decisions, but that governments and citizens are not required to live by.
