Dec. 31, 1999 As we enter 2000 the Chesapeake Bay Program has made available a draft watershed partnership agreement. It "contains commitments that are far reaching and that address issues of the waters and living resources of the Bay and its rivers, and the land and air that surround them. It is intended to take us well into the next decade and beyond." A viable new year resoution for us in the Chehalis Watershed would include a similar citizen, scientist and policy maker based agreement for us to work from.
