County to study flooding, an editorial supporting floodproofing, fertilizer reform bill prompts concerns over dioxins, landmark deal makes water top priority - dealing with TMDL and EPA and WaDOE lawsuit, farmers and officials testify on dairy waste program, a proposed revision to the NPDES permit for Centralia Mining Company, Lewis County passed a resolution (98-07) identifying them as lead county for the Chehalis River, prison site selection and wetlands in the estuary, and Washington State calls for stronger regulation of fertilizers.
