The basin is located in southwest Washington state and covers most of Lewis and Grays Harbor counties and parts of Thurston, Mason and Pacific counties.
As the map, below, illustrates the basin resembles a butterfly and perhaps it symbolizes how fragile our water resources and water quality really are.
